St George's, University of London merged with City, University of London on 1 August 2024 to become City St George's, University of London. This merger has created one of the largest higher education institutions in London and has established a strong position in professional education and practice-oriented research.

City St George's, University of London Ranking

City St George's, University of London is a new university formed on 1 August 2024 through the merger of City, University of London and St George's, University of London. This merger has affected the previous rankings of both universities, and the combined university's rankings have not yet been officially determined.

According to these lists, St George's, University of London was ranked 78th in the Complete University Guide 2024, while City, University of London was ranked 42nd in the same list. The new rankings for the combined university will be announced from updated official sources following the merger of the two universities. Therefore, it is not possible to provide definitive information about the rankings of the combined university at this time.

City St George's, University of London Campus

City St George's, University of London is a new university formed on 1 August 2024 through the merger of City, University of London and St George's, University of London. As a result of this merger, the university conducts its educational and research activities across three main campuses in London. 

The Clerkenwell Campus is the main campus and is located in London's dynamic Knowledge Quarter. The Moorgate Campus is the main campus of Bayes Business School and is located in Moorgate, London's financial district. Finally, the Tooting Campus is located on the same campus as St George's Hospital and provides health sciences education; it is also located in Tooting, southwest London.

City St George's, University of London Famous Alumni

Among the alumni of these two merged universities—St George's, University of London—are Edward Jenner, who developed the polio vaccine, and Patrick Steptoe, who developed the first in-vitro fertilization treatment. City, University of London, on the other hand, has produced famous figures in the fields of law and politics. These include former UK Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher, the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Robin Milner, a 1991 Turing Award-winning computer scientist.

CAS Letter

Universities send acceptance letters called CAS (Course of Availability) to students for use in the visa application process. You can request your CAS letter from the school through your EDUKAS consultant.

Bank account statement

Bank Statement (You need to have the school + accommodation fees in your current account or your sponsor's current account for 28 consecutive days prior to your visa interview appointment. The annual accommodation cost is determined by the visa department as 13347 GBP for London and 10224 GBP for locations outside London). FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

St George's is located in Tooting, southwest London. Students can enjoy the student union building on the Tooting campus, which includes a bar, movie theaters, quiz nights, games areas, and relaxation areas. The social programme is also lively, with welcome events like Fresher's Week, social club activities, movie nights, and games.

Undergraduate applications are made through UCAS. Required documents include a high school diploma (with a minimum 70% GPA) and transcript, English language certificate, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and passport. A minimum IELTS score is also required.  A 6.5 overall score is required, with a minimum of 6.0 points in each section.   

Applications for master's programs are made through the university's own online application portal. A minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6.0 in each section are required.
