Nicholas David Pope is an English international goalkeeper who plays for Premier League side Newcastle United. Pope began his career in the Ipswich Town youth academy. At the age of 16, he transferred to Bury Town. In May 2011, he moved to Charlton Athletic. He joined Burnley in July 2016.

The University of Roehampton provides students with a solid foundation for achieving their academic and professional goals. Foundation Pathways offers several programs. The one-year Foundation Studies: Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) program is equivalent to 120 credits at Level 4 and is structured similarly to the foundation year of four-year undergraduate programs. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive a CertHE diploma, an independent qualification that can be used for career development or as a stepping stone to three-year undergraduate programs.
Furthermore, students who begin their undergraduate programs with a foundation year gain a strong foundation for their education by acquiring academic and practical knowledge related to their chosen field. Support is provided for international students to improve their English language proficiency and academic skills. The program, consisting of two semesters (fall and spring), includes four modules; students prepare for undergraduate studies through academic communication, research, and data analysis skills, as well as department-focused courses. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to progress to the first year of their undergraduate studies.

The Extended Masters programme offered by the University of Roehampton is designed for students who want to pursue a master's degree, particularly in Business and Computing, and who need additional academic support. The programme will help you get a strong start in your master's studies in the UK by enhancing your English language skills, research capabilities and academic capacity.
The program duration varies depending on your academic background and English level, and can be either one semester (Semester One) or two semesters (Semester One and Two). Starting options are available in September, January, and May. In the one-semester option, students complete two modules and then transfer to their chosen program in the next master's term. In the two-semester option, a total of four modules are taken, and students begin their master's studies in the following September term.

The University of Roehampton offers various Pre-Sessional options for international students. The 8-week on-campus Pre-Sessional English Language program includes a maximum of 3 hours of lessons per week and focuses on developing academic writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills through small group work and individual feedback.
In addition, an Online Pre-Sessional English programme is available, offered by the Oxford International Digital Institute in collaboration with Roehampton. This programme consists of 10 hours of live lessons and 10 hours of study per week; it offers 6, 12 or 16-week options, provides an IELTS score increase of approximately 0.5–1.5, and students who successfully complete it can progress to their departments.
The University of Roehampton also offers a Pre-Sessional program option for graduate students. This 9-week on-campus International Masters Preparation program focuses on research methods, academic writing, citation techniques, and critical thinking skills, specifically preparing students who have received unconditional acceptance for postgraduate studies.

Roehampton University campus accommodation rates vary depending on room type and amenities. Weekly rates average between £146 and £212. On-campus accommodation reduces additional costs as it covers bills, WiFi, property insurance, and (from 2025) free laundry service. Flexible contract options of 36–39 weeks are also available, eliminating the 52-week contract requirement of private charters.
Students living on campus also save on transportation costs; they are within walking distance of classrooms and can reach central London in approximately 30 minutes. Universities send acceptance letters called CAS (Course of Availability) to students for use in the visa application process. You can request your CAS letter from the school through your EDUKAS consultant.
